Caroline is leaving the ICU

We hope to be going home tomorrow! She is breathing on her own, nursing on her own, and crying now. We are very excited at all the progress she is making. She is still very weak and cannot hold her head up on her own or do the other things that she used to do. We expect that it will take a while for Caroline to get her full strength back, but the important thing is that she will eventually be her normal, happy self again.

I am glad that your botox baby is getting less lethargic and more mobile. Hopefully soon she will be doing calculus.

This is the best news. I know it was so wonderful to be able to hold and cuddle your buddle of love. Keep up your strength. Home is not that far away now. We love ya'll. Give grandpa's "smudge" a kiss and a hug.

Your Nana was absolutely ecstatic to hear the good news!!! She has been so worried and concerned (as we all have). Nana was jubilent with joy. She wishes you a happy birthday and is so happy for you all.
